Community Immunization Clinics
The following information is being shared on behalf of the Durham Region Health Department for parents and guardians of Grade 7 to 12 students.
The Health Department community immunization clinics will continue to offer an opportunity for eligible students to get caught up on missed school-based vaccines including:
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis booster), typically given at age 14 – 16 years
- Meningitis, Hepatitis B or Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines, typically given in grade 7 (available to Grades 7-12)
Clinics are ongoing at the Oshawa and Pickering community immunization clinic locations over the summer months.
Of special note, the Health Department is offering added catch-up clinics at the following locations:
Where: Uxbridge Secondary School
When: June 25, 2022
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Clarington Community Immunization Clinic
When: July 13, 2022 and August 10, 2022
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
COVID-19 vaccination is also available at all our community immunization clinic locations.
