Substance Use Awareness Presentation (October 23rd @7pm)

Pinewood Addiction Services in partnership with Lakeridge Health will be presenting an evening session on Substance Use Awareness on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7pm at St. Mary C.S.S. 

 

The session will explore youth trends related to substance use, address ways to reduce stigma and promote communication as well as learning about treatment options.

 

A Pinewood Addiction Counsellor will also touch on a variety of concerns including vaping, cannabis, alcohol and gaming addictions. 

 

Durham Health Department will also be in attendance with an information booth in the atrium, as well as possible additional community partners.
